The cause of so much of the pain and hurt in the world boils down someone's selfishness. That someone values their need of the moment over their victim's valuables, innocence, security, or life. The selfish person trades trust for treachery!

I'm so tired of people taking things from me and deceiving me--pretending to love me to my face, but ripping me off when I'm not looking. It stinking hurts! Me and my husband are basically in mourning right now over the most recent hurts that we uncovered.

I thank God that he owns my soul and tends to my spirit; he owns my future and directs my path today.
